How to enroll a mobile authenticator?

  1. Make your way to the password change site located at password.eastern.edu Once there, log into your account using your Eastern University credentials.

  1. Next you’ll reach the Account management screen

If you do not currently have a recovery email or alternate recovery method on record. You will be prompted to enter a non-Eastern University recovery email address to proceed to the Management page. 

  1. From the Account management screen, select the  “ Mobile Authenticator” menu.

  1. Select “Enable mobile authenticator” and open your Google Authenticator app on your mobile device.

    1. Get verification codes with Google Authenticator

  1. Once in Google authenticator, proceed to scan the QR code with the camera of your smartphone or tablet and enter the OTP that is generated on the screen ( this must be done within the time limit as the code regularly expire)
