How to check and change registered MFA recovery email?

  1. Make your way to the password change site located at password.eastern.edu Once there, log into your account using your Eastern University credentials.

  1. Next you’ll reach the Account management screen

If you do not currently have a recovery email or alternate recovery method on record. You will be prompted to enter a non-Eastern University recovery email address to proceed to the Management page.

  1. From the Account management screen, select the  “Registered Email Address” menu.

This menu will list your current recovery email address on file to receive OTP ( One Time Passcode). This email should not be an Eastern University email address. If it is an eastern email address, please contact the Helpdesk.

  1. If you need to change your email address select “Change my email” and proceed to enter a non-Eastern University email address that you currently have access to. An email will be sent to your provided non-Eastern email from Eastern OTP with a short number that is 4 digits long. This 4 digit number will be used as the One Time Passcode to finish the recovery email enrollment process on the Account Management screen.
